DHL is offering one exceptional candidate the chance to help Corporate Real Estate be the highest performance shared service division within DHL. As a Sr. Real Estate Analyst, you will direct and perform financial analysis and reporting activities to support short-term and long-range strategic plans and budgets. You will evaluate and analyze financial data for Corporate Real Estate Americas and perform variance analysis. You will identify performance issues and make recommendations to management for remedial actions.

You will prepare and distribute periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders, as well as ensure all reports comply with applicable professional standards (IFRS) and organizational policies. You will also design and develop tools/financial models and reports to support Corporate Real Estate in the Americas region.In addition, you will be responsible for conducting self-audits and working with the Global Compliance team to ensure compliance within Corporate Real Estate.

This is a highly visible role supporting numerous stakeholders with financial information across the Americas and to Germany. This position is in Westerville, Ohio. Additional qualifications and responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

·Manages month end closing activities to verify accuracy according to Accounting and Reporting guidelines. Work with Financial counterparts and data providers across the region including accountants, controllers, business analysts etc.

·Supports the annual budget process gaining input from executives and translating into a final budget package

·Ability to create monthly revenue and cost forecasts for Sr. Management

·Conduct self-audits to identify gaps and evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with corporate policies and procedures

·Document audit procedures, observations, and effectively deliver findings/ recommendations/action plans to Sr. Management

·Assist in developing effective self-audit program and recommend revisions to existing program

·Create, distribute and track financial reports for the GBS Americas region

·Performs financial analysis at multiple levels of complexity which includes budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance reporting

·Develop, maintain, and provide historical and prospective financial information and analysis

·Monthly KPI tracking and creation of quarterly business reviews for our business colleagues

·Review and approve financial benefit records in accordance with Global Guidelines

Qualifications: 

·Good knowledge of Accounting and Controlling principles (GAAP & IFRS) and concepts like accruals, re-classes of journal entries, and intercompany invoicing

·Excellent finance analytical skills and strong presentation skills

·Detailed oriented with the ability to drill down to determine root-cause analysis

·Comfortable working with various financial statements including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets

·Solid knowledge of MS Office (excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point) and PowerBI

·Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle and SAP), (CREST – Internal to DHL only)

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels across the various business functions – stakeholder management with a customer-centric focus

·Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a matrix organization

·BS/BA in related discipline and 3-4 years of experience in related field (Accounting, Finance, Controlling) or MS/MA and 1-2 years of experience in related field (Accounting, Finance, Controlling) is preferred

·Spanish or Portuguese fluency a plus but not a requirement
