Role:

Drive DSC business and growth agenda through the pro-active identification, assessment, pursuit and win of new sales opportunities in addition to effective management of RFQ opportunities                                                                                                                                        

Responsibilities:

  • Develop local/sub-regional sales strategy, contribute to the wider sales strategy
  • Identify promising sales areas and upcoming industry trends and direct sales force towards  target accounts and (sub-)sectors
  • Draft vision and target for assigned target accounts
  • Conduct research on strategically prioritized areas, sectors and target accounts to identify potential areas for business opportunities
  • Develop a structured plan on how to win the opportunity (win-plan)
  • Identify and assess business fit of customer with DSC and develop convincing business fit presentation
  • Participation in customer meetings
  • Present solution to customer demonstrating clear business value, engage in negotiations and close the deal
  • Maintain access to key target account stakeholders, position DSC and continuously review business opportunity potential
  • Act as the customer's prime contact until handover to Operations/ Account Management is finalized
  • Develop and leverage constructive relationships with key customer stakeholders within area of responsibility
  • Analyze collected data together with functional experts (Solution Design, IT, HR, Real Estate, etc.) and support solution development

Requirement:

  • University degree or equivalent (MBA)
  • 3 - 5 years experience in various general sales functions accompanied by a wide experience in warehousing and transport in a service-oriented business
  • Experience in selling contract logistics services to e-commerce customers (nice to have)
  • Very good knowledge of Power Point and Excel
  • English language – advanced
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships with clients as Awell as internal stakeholders
  • Motivation to persistently pursue and achieve results
  • Ability to engage, challenge and work effectively with others
