Network Operator. Operativo Logístico Supply Chain Road Transport

The Network Operator performs the day-to-day transport management process (e.g. shipment planning, execution control, FBA support etc.)  Uses the LLP route planning tools to organise transport requirements as advised by customer  (mainly road transport). Is responsible of transport planning and to make available the appropriate means for daily operational management, in accordance with the requirements of internal and external customers. It is the first point of contact for supply chain partners for any transport related enquiries and works in close collaboration with them and implementation and delivery of integrated transportation solutions as part of the LLP Supply Chain solutions.

Operative business schedule from CET 8:00 to CET 19:00.

Overall Role Purpose

To provide the link between the LLP, customer Logistics departments, nominated Suppliers and Carriers in order to establish customer requirements and assist in the daily resolution/implementation of operational requirements.

To coordinate  and supervise an optimal and efficient transport network in terms of cost and service according to the needs of the work area. First contat point  with carriers  for Transportation  services.

To ensure that negotiated rates are met by reporting on transport costs 

To solve possible incidents in the transport of goods by giving immediate solutions or to raise them to give an answer

To Work on the elaboration of reports to obtain information related to the area of transport

To ensure compliance with the operations defined with our client company or by our internal client

To perform route execution controls, i.e. enquire and monitor shipment status for material including support for exception management and contingency planning.

To ensure all departmental day-to-day tasks and data entry are timely executed.

Self-sufficient and team player.

Spanish language: fluent (verbal & written)

English language: fluent (verbal & written)

1 year experience in Road transport & logistics environment

Preferred requirements

Experience of Transport Management / Order Management systems

Basic understanding of regulatory and customs principles

Oracle Transport Management Knowledge OTM (An advantage)
