As Director of Innovation Marketing, you will manage the global innovation marketing team and drive the global innovation marketing approach to position DHL as the innovation leader in the market and CSI as the innovation engine of the group. You will develop and oversee the implementation of marketing strategies to increase market awareness for the DHL trend research and innovation efforts as well as our innovation centers in Europe, Asia and the Americas, thereby driving the number of visitors to the innovation centers. In collaboration with business owners, you will shape the strategic marketing direction and positioning by developing the annual marketing roadmap. You will build and maintain strong relations with other innovation functions and the marketing community across the organization as well as managing relevant senior stakeholders on a global level with the aim to increase internal awareness and positive perception of CSI innovation activities.
- 8-12 years’ experience in content generation, preferably in a marketing context, and 5-8 years’ experience in project/event management
- 5 years’ experience in the logistics industry and/or with innovation topics
- University degree (business or equivalent) required, postgraduate degree desirable
- English fluency required, proficiency in German advantageous
- Able to thrive in a collaborative, corporate environment; an experienced team leader with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage a broad set of stakeholders and drive consensus building, excellent meeting facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of marketing tactics and planning processes
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
