Retail Network Officer
We are currently seeking a Retail Network Officer to join DHL eCommerce Solutions Malaysia!
The Retail Network Officer will be responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue objectives at catchment sales territories via development, acquisition activities and retention by servicing existing customers and targeting new business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities based on local sales lead generation efforts in catchment areas
Develop and aggressively win new ecommerce business surrounding ServicePoint areas through door to door approaches and/or telesales research
Manage a portfolio of customers and potential customers via personal sales visits, using face to face contact to provide a ‘personal service’
Build a strong client relationship to ensure that the account performs and grows to its maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business
Conversion of qualified leads into customers (First Time Buyers) and develops and penetrates existing accounts (Retention and Development).
Provide regular updates on business challenges and customer satisfaction
Work closely within the Retail Department to generate potential leads, liaising with them to support each other during new projects requiring domestic product services
Act as the customers’ main point of contact, by liaising closely with the relevant departments within DHLeC to ensure that their queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately.
Continually develop knowledge of products/services and general commercial awareness in order to provide the best possible solutions for customers.
Analyze and monitor customer data to measure success and identify fluctuations/trends so as to decide on the relevant actions to be taken.
Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing customer base.
Work as a team to build a wide network of service points in your designated catchment area
Desired Skills / Qualifications
A minimum of 1-2 years’ in sales experience
Experience of retail channel development and network management in similar industry
Good understanding of the ecommerce industry in Malaysia
Good customer development and management skill
Sets priorities and manages time effectively to meet deadlines
Stays regularly in touch with key customers to gain real understanding of their concerns and business needs
Ability to adapt quickly to fast changing situations and developing own behavior to suit the situation
Willing to travel outstation within Malaysia
Excellent communication skills (English & Malay, Mandarin as an added advantage). Written and spoken
Possess own transport (Car)
Android phone user preferred
Sales in ecommerce or logistic background will be an added advantage
Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
Minimum Educational Qualification
Diploma or equivalent in Business Management or any related discipline
