Senior System Support Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague – Senior System Support Specialist within our Server Services Operations Department at DHL IT Services. You will be responsible for supporting the department by providing information service.

About your role: 

• Participate on providing information service related to server operation data to other teams via developing, maintaining and optimizing regular and ad-hoc reports.

• Focus to data quality management, data models, operation data warehouse and maintenance of data feeds, incl. consistency

• Maintain Group Wide Server Standard related infrastructure compliance services together with linkage to Risk management

• Cooperate with colleagues from IT Services Server Operations Department and across DPDHL

• Reporting to the Team Leader of Operations Performance Team

Your daily work: 

• Cooperate with BI team on existing and new server operation data projects

• Evaluate & analyze infrastructure management data, assess compliance with standards and address findings with respective stakeholders   

• Based on requirements coordinate data gathering

• Analyze data and address data quality issues

• Visualize data via regular and ad-hoc reports

• Develop, maintain and improve new or existing reports

• Create documentation and provide explanation of the report functionalities

Your skills and experience:

Must have:

• Analytic, systematic and creative thinking

• At least 3 years of experience working in data analytic or reporting area

• Wiling to learn and develop self

• Advanced SQL knowledge based on daily usage and MS Excel functions for data analyses purposes

• Good knowledge of Power BI Desktop

  Advantage:

• Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular models

• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) language

• Basic databases knowledge

• Sound knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
