About the role:
DHL is hiring a Manager of Team for its Prague office. In this role, you will be Managing Application Support team that provides support for global and regional customer facing tools or back ends of these solutions. You will direct, lead and motivate the team, including recruitment, retention, monitoring performance, people development, and management.

Your work:
  •  Implement consistent structure, roles, performance targets and goals
  •  Embrace the culture of Solutions Support that routinely establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators 
  •  Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment to achieve both ITS and business colleagues’ objectives and targets
  •  Provide clear direction and performance standards across the team
  •  Ensure development of people through a comprehensive training plan for direct reports and subordinates
  •  Stakeholder Management; You will be the driver for complex technical solutions. Additionally, you will effectively manage maximum availability and minimize disruption to the Business mission and critical customer facing services and ensure that all agreed targets, SLA's and Metrics are met
You should be/have:
  •  An excellent communicator – you display good team leadership skills and motivate your team members
  •  Must display evidence of customer centricity as a prerequisite for this post, plus the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  •  Proficient knowledge and understanding of user/customer perspective and the impact of technical and application problems on our business            
  •  Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure      
  •  An understanding of the following technologies Linux, Oracle database, SQL, PL/SQL, Apache, Tomcat, OpenShift, NGINX, Splunk
  •  Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must 
  •  Previous DevOps experience
  •  Experience with work in multicultural, remote and virtual team
  •  Knowledge of ITIL – Service Management (Certification advantage)
