Role Description: Junior Supplier Relationship Expert

Location:Czech Republic or United Kingdom


Our Procurement team is currently looking for a new team member in the EMEA Region. In Procurement we support all Business Units and deliver value through and beyond savings. Would you like to join us?

Your main tasks will be:

Participation in the design and implementation of a Supplier Relationship Management including Supplier Rating program to deliver a supplier base that is fit for the future 

Assist in program development (e.g. timelines, key milestones) and project-related coordination activities and implementation of operational plans for completing projects

Track milestones, monitor/ report progress and performance against the program, including involvement in identifying and correcting deviations to minimize delays in the delivery of projects 

Participate in the monitoring of the status of strategic suppliers including performance and value creation 

Steering of smaller projects, e.g. review of existing processes, and come up with own ideas

Support of planning and execution of supplier diversity, and SRM training and coaching to the sourcing organization and as appropriate the business and functions


Responsibility:

Support in the design and implementation of global programs and guidelines in coordination with the superior

Responsibility for content and control of subprojects and small, clearly delineated and low-complexity projects relating to process optimization in coordination with the supervisor

Support in the creation of SRM materials, templates, trainings and processes to support the successful execution of  strategic partnerships 

Participation in the creation, monitoring, and analysis of project parameters in cooperation with the project managers


Customers: 

Function as a contact at specialist level for tasks for which you are responsible

Dialogue with internal contact persons as well as external suppliers

if necessary, cooperation and coordination with internal and external service providers


Stakeholders:

Collaborate and share expertise with specialist departments

Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders at specialist level regarding the topics for which you are responsible


Processes:

Adherence to and implementation of the processes for implementing and complying with the standards in the SRM area

Continuous review and further development of SRM processes


Your profile should look like: 

University degree with relation to Procurement and Logistics or equivalent qualification

Several years of relevant professional experience in the area of SRM and/or in managing international procurement projects

Knowledge and experience in project management

Knowledge of Trends and state of the art in the area of supplier relationship management

Completed participation in the Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) program desirable

Experience in working in an international virtual interdisciplinary teams desirable 

Previous agile & scrum working experience desirable 

Advanced knowledge of MS Office

Fluent in English, German - nice to have

Accuracy and attention to detail

Strong stakeholder management skills

Proven ability as well as track record to prioritize and think from business needs in order to identify and provide solutions best suited for a specific problem – consultative approach

Willingness and ability to travel minimum 50%
