  Job Purpose

Lead the development, deployment, implementation, and training of Facility Management Best Practices and Processes for the Global FM team.Identify, investigate, and deploy savings programs and provide necessary training. Manage multiple projects/activities that include on a globally distributed basis the tracking, enhancements and reporting of: goals, KPIs, Service Level Agreements, costs savings, and other key FM measures.Consolidate data, create, and provide reporting to senior management.Recommend and implement optimal and cost-effective IT tools to use to optimize the role and to minimize the impact to the global FM team.Monitor compliance of corporate programs and processes.Fully understand corporate real estate responsibilities and functions, real estate strategies, and the blending of these with functional and corporate objectives.

 Scope & Portfolio

  • Provides support to a globally distributed FM team.

  Key Tasks

  • Drives FM process creation and optimization including their distribution, training, and implementation tracking.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and projects.
  • Coordinate regional FM executives in the development of long term goals and their annual tracking & reporting.
  • Lead and support the introduction of best technologies, sharing and educating the FM team in new technologies.

·Evaluates third party applications. Provides recommendation for applications and implementation strategy.

  • Develop and maintain a central depository of facility data and information.

·Develop global programs and practices to enhance operations, increase service levels and reduce costs.

  • Assist sites in developing and implementing strategic energy and environmental plans. Track and report savings from energy projects, total building energy consumption, cost, and budget variances.
  • Lead cost savings initiatives program, submitting ideas, supporting the implementation of initiatives and tracking savings.
  • Lead Energy and Sustainability program, identify and implement solutions, track CO2 and financial impact.

·Develop and deploy consolidated reporting, analyze reports and provide summary to end-user and senior management.

·May supervise the creation of and/or create materials for training, promotion, and communication of the programs within role.

·Develops success indicators and monitors program performance. Recommends adjustments to program based on results of success indicators.

·Generates interim progress reports, final reports, and presentations for senior management.

·Other duties may be assigned by manager.


  • Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with regional FM leads and executives.
  • Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g., external service providers to tools & technologies.
  • Stakeholders include: senior management, FM Team, Construction Team and other CRE and corporate teams.

  Management Responsibility

·Does not directly supervise staff but provides informal leadership to other departments or Business Units.

·May provide leadership to 3rd party providers of IT and other solutions.

·May provide technical/professional leadership in areas of expertise.

  Qualifications & Key Requirements

Education Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university in Business, Engineering, IT or equivalent 4-year college program.

Experience Level:

  • Four Years of related experience and/or training.
  • Two plus years in project management, performance reporting and in working with Global Teams.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Other skills and/or abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Databases.
  • Experience working with PowerBI or similar data visualization tool.

·Must be detail-oriented, analytical and computer literate with proven leadership skills.

·Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques.

·Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills with ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Financial acumen, strategic orientation and sales skills required.
  • Able to travel to provide localized support or training.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.


·Ability to:

oComprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, and articles,

oEffectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from business units, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management,

oMake effective presentations on general topics to an internal department, large group of employees, business units, and/or management, and

oMotivate peers, management, and business units to take desired action.
