Job Title:Supply Chain Manager - LLC
Job Location:Paramus, NJ (Relocating to Newark, NJ during 2020)
We have an exciting opportunity for aSupply Chain Manager - LLC within our Lead Logistics Provider function to manage multiple levels of customer interaction and serve as an escalation point of contact to one of our strategic customers with a complex supply chain. This position will be based at our Paramus, NJ facility temporarily before relocating to Newark, NJ during 2020.
·Regional customer, site and supplier contact
·Manage transformation on regional level of the customer into the desired to-be situation based on 5 pillars
- SLA/Performance improvement
- Cost savings
- Optimization of processes
·Implement, maintain and improve contractual agreements
·Perform business reviews with regional customer team, sites and external suppliers to drive regional (and potential globally) operational standardization, efficiency/ automation, and quality
·Solve issues that global control tower cannot solve, manage escalations and resolve structural issues/disruptions
·Ensure consistent delivery across region, leverage best practices with goal to improve customer/LLP process leading to cost savings and efficiencies.
·Customer centric management to deliver client needs
·Lead customer projects and support operations in conjunction with customer and IT
·Creates & maintains SOPs for transportation lanes
·Manage customer rate inquiries for the region with local stations and ensure entry and approval in relevant applications
·Schedule call/meetings with customer and freight auditor to solve rate, charge code and invoice issues
Skills / Requirements:
·Requires excellent communication, people and influencing skills to achieve required results
·Maintain productive working relationship with regions and countries/centres that operate LLP/CT centers/ functions
·Establish global best and saving/optimization practices and ensure consistency globally
·Excellent network and stakeholder management required
·Minimum 3 yrs in logistics industry, preferable LLP/4PL
·Background in solution operation and performance management
