We have an exciting Internship opportunity for someone to support the Regional Ocean Commercial Center (ROCC) Freight Team for global RFQs. In this role you will assist our Gate Keeps & Tender Managers in managing certain activities related to the RFQ, RFP, RFIs, contract renewal opportunities that are brought by our global sales organization. You will help in the preparation of proposal documents, including content development, and response to customer queries about DHL that are part of the bid request. You will also be responsible for working collaboratively with other team members, partners and subject matter experts.  The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a can-do attitude and quality focus.

As a DGF Intern you will be provided mentoring and practical hands on experience for relevant career-related activities encountered in your area of study or specialization.

Internship Program Duration/Hours:

·Minimum 3 months and may be extended based upon performance (March2019 -  June 2019)

·Interns should be able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week, additional hours may be available

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage and assist our Gate Keepers with preparing, finalizing, and delivering a timely and winning proposal

·Follow Global OCC / RFQ process for all bids and utilize standard templates.

·Assist department with assigned projects

·Comply with all deadlines set by the Regional OCC manager and/or assigned Gate Keeper

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·Senior level undergraduate student majoring in Business, Computer Science, or Supply Chain/Logistics or recent graduate with BA/BS

·Must have strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

·Great attention to detail, multi-tasking, and proactivity skill sets required

·Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or above

·Minimum Intermediate level MS Excel experience required (ability to create pivot tables); Advanced knowledge is preferred

·Intermediate level in MS PowerPoint and MS Word and Outlook

·Strong oral and written communication skills

·Bi-lingual; additional languages are a plus

The ROCC Team Internship will commence in October 2018. Additional internship details including the start/end dates as well as schedules will be provided upon receiving an offer to join the program.
