Senior Buyer - Procurement
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Definition and implementation of the strategy for the Facility Management category by actively interacting with internal customers of DHL's three business divisions. It will be in charge of monitoring and guaranteeing compliance with the supply processes in accordance with the company's policies. Likewise, will be responsible for the administration of the expense and the contracts of the company under the threshold of the category to persons load.
Guarantee the correct support to the responsible areas to achieve the objective of providing on time, with the best quality and the best cost, the inputs required for the operation of the company. Managing relationships with strategic suppliers is also part of the role of the position, ensuring the development of strategic suppliers for the company.
MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of business supply projects in strict adherence to the company's methodology and policies, responding in a timely manner according to the client's needs.
Analysis of company spending to identify and implement savings projects or initiatives.
Ensure that the category strategy is aligned with the regional and global structure as applicable, with a clear focus on local needs.
Provide adequate support to the junior buyer of the category and ensure an alignment that allows the service expected by the divisional colleague to be delivered.Mantener
Promote long-term relationships with strategic suppliers to achieve the best commercial agreements that guarantee the best cost and supply for the company. • Management of category contracts to maintain related metrics and ensure compliance in trade agreements with suppliers.
Contracts management in all negotiations to guarantee supplier compliance and mitigate risks for the company.
3 - 4 years minimum experience in the purchasing area, preferably in an international or global company, in purchase categories related to Real Estate Services (Cleaning, Maintenance, Security)
Make customers successful: Be proactive in offering the internal client different opportunities for optimizing resources. Proactivity in the search for supplies that satisfy the needs of the BPs, offering supply alternatives at convenient costs that allow the organization to optimize resources efficiently
Direction: Establishment of supply strategies to simplify procurement processes. Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers of the category (s) in charge that strengthen mutually beneficial business relationships. Establish in common agreement with the BP plans of supply in time and form that allow to exercise the administration of the Budget of the assigned categories in an efficient and correct way
High performance: I work in a team and under pressure. Establish the corresponding networking to streamline the supply activities within the organization. Respond quickly and efficiently to the purchase requirements that the business demands
Develop other: Work with the Buyer of the category in common agreement to achieve synchrony between the tactical and strategic part of it
Establish processes that allow the purchase operation to be more fluid in its results (catalog strategy)
Self-development: Search for continuous knowledge about the market and about the organization that gives you the opportunity to develop and simplify your work to carry out your activities more efficiently, offering cost optimization and strategic business relationships
