Senior Manager, Account Management, ISC

Working Location : Kwai Hing

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Account Management team to fulfil and exceed the customer’s expectations and requirements
  • Conduct periodic reviews and customer's meeting to ensure customer satisfaction/expectation and maintain good relationship with customers
  • Understand customer needs and actively engage with customers for business opportunity
  • Provide customer oriented services and solutions and coordinate with origin and destination to ensure excellent quality of service
  • Look at overall GP/EBIT of accounts and drive organic growth of existing accounts
  • Support Business Development team in preparation of RFQ and RFI, customer meetings and conference calls
  • Analyze market trend, carrier issues and to provide market intelligence to customers
  • Meet customer and vendor, travel may be needed
  • Review and improve procedures with customers,  origin and destination, vendors and carriers to streamline the process and enhance the productivity
  • Introduce best practices operational performance across ISC implementations
  • Implement new businesses and programs. Analyze existing service model and drive for continuous improvement
  • Allocate the manpower and resources based on service demand and revenue streams
  • Develop staff and to train/equip them with relevant skillsets and develop them on their career paths

Requirements:

  • Degree holder of Logistics/ business-related discipline or qualification equivalent to Qualifications Framework (QF)
  • 10 years relevant experience, preferably gained in logistics/shipping/freight forwarding company
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership, people and change management skills
  • Energetic, customer focus, project oriented and able to work in a matrix organization
  • Experience in managing process/system enhancement is highly preferable
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent spoken in Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Proficient in PC operations knowledge, e.g. Ms Excel,PowerPoint & Outlook
