GERENTE DE AFR COSTA RICA
Job Objective:
Define, implement and execute the Air strategy in the country.
Manages and promotes the performance of the AFR product teams.
Ensuring effective end-to-end capacity management (includes purchasing optimization and cargo consolidation) and negotiating key contracts.
Is responsible for prices and internal fees.
Ensure the implementation of business development opportunities within the country.
Job responsibilities:
Promote the implementation of the AFR strategy in the country (it translates the requirements, implements them, guarantees the implementation of the strategy and monitors it)
Direct and control activities carried out to effectively manage end-to-end AFR capacity (procure capacity, plan and control the network)
Negotiates key contracts with carriers
Ensure network acquisition optimization and implementation of all cargo consolidation opportunities.
Establish, communicate and monitor KPIs to ensure constant improvement of capacity management
Create, develop and maintain good relationships with service providers, facilitating negotiations for better rates at the country level.
Escalate carrier performance issues when required.
Direct and control all activities related to the establishment of prices required in the country
Supervise the identification and implementation of new products within the country.
Support Sales in the interaction with key customers
Ensure efficient communication and information exchanges with Sales
Provide information in the design of solutions and elements of the service
Ensure efficient communication and information exchanges with the regional / global AFR management.
Establish and monitor objectives in terms of maximizing profitability and volume growth (example in ITM lanes)
Manage, guide and develop the personnel in charge
Develop plans to promote integration, leadership and motivation among the team of workers
Give feedback (One to One) and evaluate staff using the performance tool
Request and manage personnel actions (vacations, reprimands, suspensions, hiring, bonuses, dismissals, access
Requirements:
Scholarship:
Have approved a bachelor's degree in university studies in Administration, customs or International trade
Experience:
At least 5 years in similar positions
Extensive logistics knowledge of the AFR business
Demonstrable experience in personnel administration (leadership, motivation and interpersonal skills)
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Able to easily make well-informed decisions
Knowledge:
Advanced command of the English language
Intermediate handling in computing packages (Office)
