In keeping with this strategy we are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Director Business Development Real Estate for DHL Supply Chain Mainland Europe Middle East and Africa.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Drive DHL Supply Chain business and growth agenda for Real Estate Solutions (RES) product in the region through the pro-active and early identification of new sales opportunities through all pipelines
- Orchestrate process for all pipelines, focusing on qualification of early opportunities and analyzing existing trends/ reports/ other relevant Real Estate information.
- Strategic Investment - Participate in DHL Supply Chain quarterly and annual review of country strategy providing Real Estate team input on potential upcoming logistics markets
- Conduct internal and external research to identify customers' real estate requirements
- Collect customer requirements to qualify identified opportunities and develop recommendation on pursuit or cancellation based on financial attractiveness, risk and fit of customer requirements with Real Estate Solutions capabilities / strategy
- Identify and assess business fit of customer with Real Estate Solutions and develop convincing business fit presentation (either alone or jointly with RES developers)
What is required from you?
- To navigate through multiple stakeholders, Cluster Managing Directors, Real Estate team, Corporate Real Estate teams, Business Development heads
- To sell the value proposition of Real Estate to customers, on top of our standard solutions / strong business acumen
- Have a consultative mindset, approach
- Class A industrial real estate development / brokerage
- Ability to think strategically, conceptually and articulate strategic plans
- Professional commercial skills
- Customer focused - both externally and internally
- Excellent networking and first class presentation skills
- Exemplary relationship management
- Internationally oriented - own sub-regional or regional experience and track record
- Fluent English written and spoken. Additional languages are an advantage eg. German, French
