We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Learning & Development team. You will specialize in the design, development and/or delivery of Learning and Development solutions, processes and tools and programs that develop the capabilities, performance and potential of our people in line with current and future business needs and best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Secure and manage vendors for global/strategic Competency Development programs
  • Secure and manage local vendors for implementation of global or local programs
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices through various communications media and professional associations
  • Manage relationship with external parties (e.g government entities, shared services)
  • Participate and provide learning and development related feedback in networking events, external party meetings
  • Develop learning supports (training, other) aimed at closing skill, knowledge, and competency gaps. (L & D Consultant Role)
  • To be accountable for the implementation of a consistent set of L & D policies and processes at a specific location (L & D site manager role)
  • Coordinate deployment of L & D programs with HR specialist teams from different locations as well as supporting locally-driven L & D initiatives. 
  • Actively promote exchange of expertise with other L & D team members
  • Cooperate with HR colleagues in execution of performance management process
  • Support HR Business partners in using L & D to help increase quality in IT Services functional areas
  • Provide professional L&D advice to employees and line managers and determine when a learning intervention could be an appropriate solution for performance improvement
  • Provide technical guidance and training solutions to employees and line managers
  • Conduct research and learning needs analysis
  • Contribute to course design
  • Deliver learning programs / solutions within a defined scope
  • Develop proposals for improvements that will deliver higher quality and / or lower cost L&D products and outcomes
  • Coach and mentor business partners & HR colleagues

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Degree in HR or any related field of study.
  • HR certification is a plus
  • Experience in training or various HR related areas
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal understanding
  • Consulting skills
  • Understanding of learning and development techniques, instructional design, measurement of learning interventions, and performance improvement
  • General understanding of IT roles, functions, and competencies
  • Ability to demonstrate impact and influence
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way (oral and written)
  • General understanding of project management methodology and terminology
  • Conceptual ability to connect the capabilities of the L & D function to the strategies, performance gaps, and business issues of IT Services
  • Experience driving within divisional initiatives
  • Experience working in a multi cultural team in a multinational environment
