We are seeking for a talented Application Support Specialist to join our team.

You will provide application support to ensure the availability of these services to DHL Business Unitswithminimal disruption to business continuity.

Your main role is to provide application support to DHL Business Units and to ensure the availability of these services with minimal disruption to business continuity. You will also provide basic support and analysis of incidents such as incident management, analysis of ticket trends and some real time monitoring through existing tools.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Receive requests for support from business users related to Servicenow products

  • Prioritize requests in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the organization in accordance with Service Level Agreements and current processes and procedures

  • Investigate problems and support requests and determine appropriate action

  • Provide correct responses to requests for support within area of competence which include manipulating data, reconfiguring systems, helping to implement changes to operating procedures, training users or operations staff, producing additional documentation, or escalating requests

  • Follow Data quality & security standards and policies relating to product technical specialization

  • Working closely with network, email, secure access, SSO, local country network teams and servicenow part of resolving the issues

  • Working closely with 30 different ITS process owners for problems and deployments

  • Liaise with staff responsible for the design and development of system enhancements

  • Creativity and continuous improvements are practices day to day operation

  • Be assigned with specific project related tasks

  • Follow ITS processes and ITIL best practice

APPLICATION YOU WILL USE

  • Servicenow products

  • SQL & Oracle database

  • Java scripts

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Certified in Service now administration

  • 3-5 years of experience in Service now products

  • Proficient in Java scripting

  • Proficient in MS SQL/Oracle scripts

  • ITIL V3 certified

  • Proficient in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Business Analysis Techniques, Software Testing, reporting

  • Creative and analytical thinking, attentive to details leading to solutions

  • Good command of communication skills

  • Customer Focus

  • Information acquisition

  • Ability to interact with people

  • Multi-tasking & team player
