Supporting functional customer interviews to understand complex business issues and developing conclusions and recommendations
Supporting the delivery of work packages in accordance with established budgets, work plans, quality standards, and timeframes
Solving customer requirements using Templates & Frameworks as well as generic product functionality
Leading simple work packages or change requests with in-house or external consultants
The role covers all aspects of transport functionality: Order Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Supply Chain Visibility and Event Management, Inventory Visibility and Freight Bill Audit & Payments
Support the project teams to determine IT solution requirements, CRP demonstrations, customer meetings, solution design
Support the implementation of complexIT project solution work packages in line with the DHL DePict methodology.
Deliver IT development work packagesand change requests in line with the customer requirements. Ensure any development IT in accordance with supplier governance policies
Provide IT support as required for live customers (CRs, new releases etc.)
Build effective relationships and maintain close liaison with business and IT project teams by maintaining regular contact through the full project lifecycle
Undertake other projects and roles as required from time to time by management
Analyses requests for Change for live customers (CRs, new releases etc.)
Support business requirement and GAP analysis workshops (Merlin) for template based implementations
Build working relationships with customers and business
Build working relationships with suppliers
Develop relationships with implementation and IT support teams
Collation and distribution of information, where assigned, required for IT systems implementation.
Hands on development / configuration of OTM.
Development of test scenarios and scripts.
Perform IT testing and support user acceptance testing.
Document user training to internal and customer team
Basic DSC business understanding
Basic understanding of transportation industry requirements
Ability to communicate clearly to a varied audience (internal and external) in non-technical terms.
Works with peers, and/or supervisors to jointly set challenging but realistic objectives and action plans in accordance with organizational goals
Able to clearly present information through the spoken and written word;listens well
Good understanding of customer requirements gathering
Good understanding of solution design principles
General understanding of transport related solutions and B2B integration standards
Contributes to proposal submissions and business development initiatives under the direction of the Leadership team
Participates in workshops & event
Preparation of simple solution or Change Request design proposals from a technical perspective.
Coordinate, direct and oversee simple work package delivered by suppliers
