Responsible for developing and implementing Corporate Real Estate strategy initiatives to support DPDHL real estate portfolio and facilities management in the South America Sub-Region. Develops and establishes the strategy for the corporate real estate and facilities functions within the sub-region in alignment to the Regional Vision. This position provides leadership, governance, and policy guidance to the Company for all activities related to the delivery and performance of the portfolio. Provides strategic guidance and consult with key stakeholders to align divisional plans with Company strategies. Develops partnership with Divisional heads to ensure business requirements are accounted for when formulating the real estate strategy and in the delivery of building and facility services.

Responsibilities

·Define the Corporate Guidelines for Corporate Real Estate Management throughout South America and for all business units - DSC / DGF / Express;

·Manage and manage the relationship with the Stakeholders of the Divisions;

·Manage the relationship and opportunities with Brokers;

·Define and Implement the CRE Strategy, encompassing all the pillars, for the entire South America sub-region;

·Lead the New Business process in CRE together with the BD area;

·Manage the Governance of Facility Management in the Countries when applicable;

·Encourage the search for best technology practices and the best costs for the company's competitiveness;

·Support and encourage the implementation of GoGreen technological innovations;

·Improve processes and ensure their implementations;

·Analyze and approve department performance indicators (eg, KPIs)

Competencies

Initiate / Influence / Provide Expertise. Provide CRE service and support to specific business area(s) of large scale/ complexity (e.g. Sub-Regional)

·Professional leader and line and budget manager for large CRE function

·Influence wider CRE strategy and policy and represent own business areas in wider forums

·Direct delivery of all CRE products and services, to meet emerging business and external needs, and ensure their continuous improvement in cost and quality

·Manage service relationship with large/complex business unit (eg multiple businesses) as member of senior business teams

·Lead on major/most complex CRE issues, drawing on internal and external specialist expertise as needed

·Manages and accountable for the business performance of their organization in the short and medium term, in alignment with strategic targets and market developments

·Ensures a consistently strong focus on good communications by their own organization in their dealings with audiences at all levels and sizes both within and outside of DPDHL, and in all types of situations

·Knowledgeable in products, services and business processes of their key business and solid knowledge of all other divisions

·Uses business knowledge and market data to establish strategies and initiate actions to increase performance of division well considering the Group overall performance

·Contributes significantly to strategic discussions with business partners / customers

·Applies detailed real estate knowledge to all kinds of issues

·Maintains a strong network with experts across the group

·Gives feedback and input to external expert associations and official institutions regarding real estate practices and requirements

·Uses in-depth knowledge to advise management on shaping business decisions in a way that optimizes the real estate opportunities

Qualifications

·10-15 years of relevant Commercial/ Corporate Real Estate experience (Developer, Property Leasing Agencies, Brokers, large corporations In-House Real Estate Specialist)

·5+ years leadership experience (staff or vendor leadership)

·Must have experience in leading complex & large real estate venturing deals

·Multiple country and/or industries

·Relevant University Degree e.g. in Business, Architecture, Engineer, or Real Estate related field, Masters preferred

·Membership in Professional Real Estate Institutions preferred, e.g. Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

·Language Requirements: English, Spanish & Portuguese
