Main tasks:

  • Support the regular monitoring of quality standards & performance KPIs, designing and implementing improvement measures and actions
  • Cross-functional implementation tasks: support Core countries and connect network partners to implement new/changed operational processes to offer required product features and establish process standards
  • Manage and further develop data exchange and performance tracking tools, i.e. ORS, CDEx
  • Contribute to the on boarding of new Parcel Union countries and partners to the international network, including gap analysis, implementation planning, project monitoring and testing
  • Contribute to the monitoring of project execution and implementation in line with cost, deadline and resource planning

Role description:


  • Achieve acceptance of, implementation and compliance to DHL eCS standards at international network partners without direct reporting authority
  • Contribute to data analyses (action field and causal analyses, performance reviews) and develop the corresponding management documents
  • Operations specialist in project management with the objective of
      • Contribution to designing and controlling new quality management processes in the eCommerce area
      • Contribution to developing, complying with and implementing quality standards, taking account of implied quality and cost effects (e.g. audit projects)


  • Contact at the specialist level at Global Head Office and with operational units in the eCS division
  • Supporting new customers on boarding process as required
  • Relationship management between network partners and DHL eCS for operational and x-functional processes and in relation to further central functions, i.e. Product Management, Customer Service, IT


  • Relationship management with specialist level, in particular with Product Management, Sales, Customer Service and IT
  • Operations Responsible at Core countries & Parcel Union partners (as assigned): explain network standards, regular performance KPI monitoring, define improvement actions
  • Work in virtual teams


  • Contribute continuous and systematic monitoring of dedicated process, product and service qualities within assigned Core countries or Parcel Union partners
  • Apply best practices for improvement measures in collaboration with the areas responsible for operations
  • Drive on boarding process, which includes such tasks as: Explanation of network standards, Conduct gap analysis, Support partner during the planning and agree implementation plan


  • University degree (Master/Graduate), preferably in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or engineering, or an equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in in logistics, CEP or IT industry, preferably in the operations department
  • In-depth understanding ofoperations processes
  • International partner management
  • Very good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, collaborative working style and multicultural tact
  • Excellent team player in an international dynamic
  • Knowledge of project and process management
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerBI
  • Business fluency in spoken and written German and English
  • Willingness to undertake business trips within and outside Germany
