Brief description of Finance Systems Transformation, Dept. 602:
The Department 602 Finance Systems Transformation is responsible for overall program governance of SHAPE+ Program, a cross-divisional Finance ERP Platform transformation program. SHAPE+ Program aims at driving standardization and automation of core Accounting and Cost Accounting processes and master data for P&P, EXP, eCS and CF and consolidate these on a Finance ERP platform. In the steady-state, the vision is to consolidate all entities into one standard process & system template and to enable visionary capabilities such as continuous accounting and real-time processing (overcome batch mode), as well as immediate sharing of innovation without redundant implementations. This shall significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our Finance organization and lay the necessary foundation for the transformation and digitalization of the Finance organization. 

The Dept. 602 will contain a central Business Process Optimization (BPO) team, which will be responsible for transformation and project methodology, process & platform design as well as overall change management. The program team is further to be supported in its tasks by a central PMO and further project assurance roles. The central team is expected to establish a CoE for the cross-divisional process governance (incl. process ownership) and shall include platform design and customizing experts for the platform and template setup and governance.

Brief description of the post:
As BPO Project Manager, you support the Head of BPO & Change in overall program management, delivery of end-to-end process design and optimization, functional requirements and applications and change management. You coordinate program planning and execution, drive process design & selection of functional applications and supporting IT solutions and support the Finance organization with the program and sprint methodology. Working closely with the Process Standards team and IT Platform Design team, you conduct workshops for deliverable and process design and functional requirements definition. In addition, you support the Head of BPO & Change and the Change Experts in execution of change management related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Report to the Head of BPO & Change and support the SHAPE+ management in the successful program delivery
Ensure professional program management, planning and execution of assigned workstream delivery 
Design program methodology and enable organization in adoption of program concept
Pro-actively coordinate process design workshops and sprints and the selection of functional applications 
SME and responsible for a specified process area, working closely with the process owners and developers
Drive optimization of processes areas and functional applications ensuring market view and exchange 
Conduct process/master data analysis and design workshops, ensure finalization of alignments 
Own the process design requirements, ensure functional transfer to ERP platform designers and developers for technical configuration, including pro-active support of all stakeholders involved
Manage test and training activities, collect requirements for user access & authorizations
Support Change Management activities, including defining and management all change, training & communication activities & concepts and developing engagement plans for stakeholders

Strong organization and project management skills
Experience in project management methodologies (e.g. PMI, SCRUM, SAP Activate, SAFe) & tools
Experience in the area of Business Process Optimization or in ERP transformation
Solid Finance process knowledge, e.g. in RTR, OTC, PTP, Cost Accounting
Experience in Finance process management, modelling and optimization
Basic knowledge of customizing experience in SAP FI/CO (ideally S/4HANA) and/or (Finance) applications 
Experience in change and stakeholder management
Analytical skills and capacity for conceptual thinking, able to think and act with a cross-organizational and cross-process approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
