Wesentliche Aufgaben:

  • Leitung der Bereitstellung und der BLESS-Releases (Base-Line Eco System Service) für verschiedene Kunden und Partner von DHL unter Berücksichtigung der Konzernrichtlinien für Datenschutz und Informationssicherheit

  • Häufige Abstimmungen zum Entwicklungsstand mit der IT- und CISO-Organisation der DHL-Kunden

  • Zusammenarbeit mit den Unternehmensbereichen von DHL, um sicherzustellen, dass die DHL-System- und Kundensystembedürfnisse in dem Gesamt-Deployment-Plan integriert sind

  • Koordinierung der Integration der Blockchain-Plattform BLESS in die bestehenden Geschäftsprozesse des Konzerns

  • Sicherstellung der Implementierung und Entwicklung geeigneter Blockchain-Skalierbarkeits- und -Sicherheitskonzepte für den Konzern und/oder für Kunden unter Berücksichtigung von Transaktionsvolumen, Funktionalitäten, Teilnehmern und Kundennutzen

  • Bescheinigung, dass alle UAT-, Vorproduktionen und Produktionsentwicklung den Sicherheits- und Prozessstandards entsprechen

Rollenbeschreibung:

Verantwortung:

  • Weiterentwicklung der Strategie für Remote-Deployment und Containerisierung/Skalierbarkeit bezüglich der konzernweiten Blockchain-Plattform BLESS

  • Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung einer konzernweiten IT-Architektur für die Integration der BLESS-Plattform

  • Sicherstellung der Implementierung von Plattform-Releases für die Weiterentwicklung bestehender Prozesse, einschließlich Marktbeobachtungen und Trends

Kunden:

  • Intensive Zusammenarbeit mit den IT-Organisation der Partner und des DHL-Unternehmensbereichs

  • Intensive Kontakte auf technischer und Führungsebene innerhalb der konzernweiten IT-Funktionen sowie der Unternehmensbereiche mit Schwerpunkt auf Application Programming Interface (API), Internet of Things (IoT) oder Data Lake

  • Zusammenarbeit mit und Steuerung von externen Dienstleistern, z. B. IT-Spezialisten und Beratern

  • Einhaltung von Service-, Compliance- und Qualitätsstandards im eigenen Aufgabenbereich

Stakeholder:

  • Beziehungsmanagement auf Fach- und Leitungsebene, z. B. mit der Blockchain-Spezialistengruppe des Konzerns

  • Kontaktpflege mit Externen, z. B. Industrieverbänden oder IT-Dienstleistern

    Prozesse:

  • Identifizierung und Implementierung von Prozessverbesserungen im Blockchain-Bereich

  • Prozessentwicklung und -veränderung bezüglich der BLESS-Plattform

  • Entwicklung und Definition der Best Practices für den IT-Sektor

Mitarbeiterführung:

  • Ausbildung, Schulung und Mentoring von Nachwuchskräften

  • Führung von Fachteams

  • Fachliche Projektleitung

Fähigkeiten/Qualifikationen:

  • Hochschulabschluss mit Schwerpunkt in Computerwissenschaften oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

  • Mindestens sechsjährige Berufserfahrung, idealerweise in einer ähnlichen Rolle

  • Erfahrung mit diversen Kundensparten und deren Besonderheiten

  • Kenntnisse und Erfahrung mit gängigen und agilen Projektmanagementmethoden

  • Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in der Gestaltung, Entwicklung und Implementierung der Blockchain-Technologie, insbesondere mit Ethereum, Hyper Ledger und Corda sowie in der Entwicklung und Implementierung von Technologielösungen mit Kafka, MySQL, Mongo DB usw.

  • Erfahrung in Enterprise Architecture, Design-Plattformen sowie in der Entwicklung und Verteilung (Deployment) von web-/internetbasierten Anwendungen.

  • Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Lösungen mit API 3.0, JSpring, JavaScript, Java, Python, Node, .NET, Low-Code-Software

  • Kenntnisse der IT-Architektur von Vorteil, insbesondere REST; Microservices/SOA und relevante Produkte/Lösungen, z. B. Docker, Kubernetes, Greengrass oder OpenShift sowie Cloud-Angebote, z. B. Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform oder AWS

  • Englischkenntnisse, Niveau C1, sowie Deutschkenntnisse, Niveau B2, oder Bereitschaft zum Erwerb dieser Kenntnisse

Main tasks:

  • Lead the Deployment of BLESS (Base-Line Eco System Service) release to different DHL customers and partners, considering the Group's guidelines for data protection and information security.

  • Execute frequent Deployment calls with DHL’s customers IT and CISO organization

  • Work with DHL’s Business Units to ensure integration of DHL system and Customer System necessities are incorporated in the overall Deployment Plan

  • Coordination of the integration of the Blockchain platform BLESS into the existing business processes of the group

  • Ensuring the implementation and development of appropriate Blockchain scalability and security concepts for the Group and or customers, taking into account transaction volumes, functionalities, participants and customer benefits

  • Certify all UAT, Pre-production and production deployments are in line with security and process standards

Role description:

Responsibility:

  • Further development of the strategy for remote deployment and containerization/scalability  with regard to the group-wide Blockchain platform BLESS

  • Contribution to the development and further development of a group-wide IT architecture for the integration of the BLESS platform.

  • Ensuring the implementation of platform releases for the further development of existing processes, including market observations and trends

Customers:

  • Intensive contact with IT organization of the partners and DHL’s Business unit

  • Intensive contact at technical and management level within the group-wide IT functions as well as the business units with a focus on Application Programming Interface (API), Internet of Things (IoT) or Data Lake

  • Cooperation with and management of external service providers, e.g. IT specialists and consultants

  • Ensuring service, compliance and quality standards in our own area of responsibility

Stakeholders:

  • Relationship management at specialist and management level, e.g. to the blockchain specialist group of the Group

  • Maintaining contacts with external parties, e.g. industry associations or IT service providers

    Processes:

  • Identification and implementation of process improvements in the blockchain area

  • Developing and changing processes with regard to the BLESS platform

  • Development and definition of best practices for the IT sector

Employee leadership:

  • Education, training and mentoring of junior staff

  • Leading specialist teams

  • Professional leadership function in projects

Skills/Qualifications:

  • University degree with focus on computer science or comparable qualification

  • At least six years' professional experience, ideally in a similar role

  • Experience with diverse customer branches and their special features

  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with common and agile project management methods

  • Knowledge and experience in the design, development and implementation of Blockchain technology, especially Ethereum, Hyper Ledger and Corda  as well as in the development and implementation of technology solutions with Kafka, MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.

  • Experience in enterprise architecture, design platforms as well as in the development and deployment of web-/Internet-based applications.

  • Experience in the development of solutions with API 3.0, JSpring, JavaScript, Java, Python, Node, .NET, Low-code software

  • Knowledge of IT architecture is an advantage, especially REST; micro services / SOA and relevant products / solutions, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Green grass or Open Shift as well as cloud offerings, e.g. Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS.

  • English skills, level C1 as well as German skills, level B2 or willingness to acquire
