•Periodically review the national Sub Contractor logistics network model to ensure it remains cost effective & relevant to the needs of the business,
•Develop a standard costing delivery model Develop Transport Solutions and rate cards for RFQ responses,
•Determine & analyse all transport sub -contractor cost drivers to enable the daily management and effective agreed KPI's,
•Provide support to the depot transport teams to drive cost containment and/or cost reductions, delivery flexibility through development of comprehensive transport performance metrics,
•Be actively involved in and support change initiatives, be a change agent to drive implementation of the business strategy within the transport department,
•To undertake logistics benchmarking & competitor analysis to build a best in class logistics delivery model,
•Ensure compliance to all policies and Standard Operating Procedures through in field audits as needed.
•Preferable 4-5 years of experience in Automotive, Consumer & Retail logistics, Control Tower & Planning - although not essential,
•Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (customer facing),
•Willingness to travel within Poland,
•Excellent English skills (written & spoken),
•Proactive reporting and decision making concerning strikes, transport delays etc.,
•Excellent planning skills experience (especially budgetary and cost modeling) and Polish, European, and/or global logistics pricing knowledge.
