Overall Role Purpose:
  • Differentiate from competition by providing customer personalized approach and service through an Indoor Sales Support team set up by local station (KUL, PEN, JHB). 
  • Support and contribute to the commercial team objective of customer retention and development of the assigned Area Sales Development Group customers by attending to customer’s requirement and work closely with the Area Sales Staff.


  • Provide dedicated "one touch" service structure to customers
  • To support Field Sales team to generate quotation using QouteShop System
  • Provide after sales service (interaction through Outbound and Inbound Calls), FS will transition the customers to IDS eventually.
  • Cross sell/Upsell to customers and maintain the customer relationship.
  • Interact Internally with CSU to drive implementation through products.
  • Effectively serve as a back-up for urgent commercial related issues in the event of Field Sales absence within the given guideline.
  • Providing support to the field sales through coordinating LOGIS rate filling/ profile updates with RTC, maintain & ensuring CRF / customer profile are updated at all times and coordinate marketing events.


  • Presentation layout skills
  • Communication skills (English), spoken and written
  • Understanding of the language of business practices
  • Analytical skills and shipping knowledge
  • Strong Software skills (basic : Word, Excel, PowerPoint and etc.)
  • 2 -3 years experience in freight forwarding / related -logistics function
  • Degree in Business (or related discipline)
