About this role:

You will act as Principal Engineer leading the implementation of enterprise client infrastructure, devices, and associated technology.

The technology focus is Microsoft Windows 10 OS deployment and servicing utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Manager technologies (SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Desktop Analytics), central application deployment, Anti-Virus, Disk Encryption, Backup / Recovery, 3rdparty software version management, Virtual Desktop.

Expertise with Windows 10 deployment and central servicing of update, patch, drivers/bios, and scripting is critical for this role.Journeyman to Expert PowerShell scripting development. Previous experience in executing Windows 10 servicing with Microsoft SCCM/Intune in a global enterprise environment is mandatory.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Windows 10 Servicing lead expert in the development and implementation of annual Windows 10 OS feature updates for resilient deployment across 300k global windows 10 client devices
  • Continuous improvement of device health through proactive resolution
  • Drive the implementation (build) aspects for Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) client infrastructure focusing on modern client management methodology for traditional, virtual, and cloud-based clients
  • Consult from end-users to senior management to refine requirements for implementation of complex systems and end-user computing infrastructure development
  • Deliver complex Infrastructure technical implementation with strong project leadership skills, detailed estimation, work breakdown, and risk identification/management
  • Infrastructure Problem Management - provide 3rd level problem/incident support for client computing back-end infrastructure/clients
  • Actively maintain skill and knowledge on emerging client technologies


Your Skills:

  • Advanced implementation expertise with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Desktop Analytics
  • Microsoft Windows 10 and Server, Microsoft Office 365, Symantec SEP, Druva, Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural environment where consensus is paramount
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to leaders
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills: Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships with partners
  • Ability to flourish in a demanding annual implementation cycle with engaged internal line-of-business colleagues


Qualification:

  • University degree with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows servicing
  • 10+ years of relevant IT professional experience
  • Experience in Enterprise Client Management Infrastructure Implementation
  • Technical certification in relevant technologies – e.g. Microsoft, Symantec, VMware, Citrix
  • Understanding and experience in working within ITIL methodologies
  • Experience in a large, multi-vendor large enterprise computing environment
