DHL has an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner in our Information Technology Services department.This position can be located in Mechanicsburg, PA or Westerville, OH.In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with members of the global IT Services management team, acting as a trusted advisor to the business.You will provide consultation in the areas of: Employee and Industrial Relations, Organizational Design, Employee Development, Performance Management, Compensation, Talent and Succession Planning, as well as other HR related processes and activities.You will also be responsible for HR IS Systems (management updates), cooperation with hosting entities and rewards and recognition topics.

In Your Day-To-Day Role You Will:

• Love Your Job!Provide HR service portfolio to IT Services and ensure process improvement, implement changes in HR processes: Organizational Change; Organizational Design; Workforce Management; Compensation & Benefits; Talent Management & Sourcing; Employment Data / Contract Management; People Performance Management; Labor / Industrial Relations; and HR Service Delivery

• Provide guidance and consulting on HR matters to IT Services senior business team, drawing on specialists or team members as needed.Effectively interact with Global HR and other functions and ensures that local issues are taken into account when forming global strategies and initiatives

• Lead and deliver Talent Management, C&B, L&D and Employee Engagement activities for specific business area(s) either through own teams or centers of expertise

• Develop and implement HR policies that comply with statutory regulations and are consistent with internal and external best practices

• Administrative duties include data management - coordinating employee information managementbetween multiple HR Information Service programs

• Coordinating communications in an international matrix organizational environment

• Coordinate HR policies among host countries and parent country

• Oversee multinational employee transfers between host countries

• Lead ITS HR initiatives

•Identify and deploy solutions that increase organizational efficiency in line with global direction and are able to articulate the cost / benefit of these solutions

•Provide sound advice and recommendations to business managers on matters that may impact people within the organization

•Responsible for developing a robust business continuity plan for the HR function within own business area

•Maintain a strong network with experts across the group and give feedback and input to internal/external groups regarding HR practices and requirements

•Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across DPDHL and/or partner organizations to foster collaboration and on-going sharing of best practices and resources, in order to gain mutual business advantage.Resolve conflict through influencing key stakeholders effectively and challenge to stand up in situations of moral or legal conflict

•Provide feedback and coaching to middle / senior managers, actively listen and ask searching and clarifying questions effectively.Recognize when coaching is an effective method and when other techniques are needed to address required change

•Has deep knowledge of employment law.Keep track of changes in the legal environment to ensure the organization remains compliant.Advise and educate management and employees through communication on applicability of employment law

The Qualifications You Bring To This Role:

•3-5+ years of working experience and knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, recruitment, employeerelations, performance management and employee development

• Previous experience partnering with the line of business at a senior management and executive level in a complex environment

• Experience working in a multi-cultural team in a multi-national environment with a global focus

• Excellent consulting skills and experience driving within divisional initiatives

• Excellent client management and business literacy skills

• Strong conflict management skills

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results

• Effectively develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues

• Manage multiple business units and conflicting priorities

• Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively with clients

• Be flexible and available to interact with HR Partners and business partners internationally

• Work independently and with little guidance to achieve business objectives

• University degree and HR certification is plus
