Providing appropriate offerings and solutions for existing and potential customers in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
·Identify customer targets for Greenplan and build/maintain relationships; ensure business fit
·Develop a sales strategy and identify, assess and develop new/growth/retention/ strategic opportunities globally
·Gather intelligence from internal & external sources to understand customer needs (e.g. strategies, operational and procurement culture, supply chain maps including intelligence on ops, specs, incumbents, contracts, etc.)
·Create future opportunities by translating customer needs & business trends into potential offerings
·Drive renewal of profitable business
·Support lead -generation activities such as trade fair, workshops, conferences
·Main responsibility for dedicated customer development (i.e. approaching customer, scheduling, preparing and execution of customer meetings)
·Support customer requirement workshop to identify customer needs, develop deep understanding of customers data and processes
·Develop and present proposal and ensure common understanding of expectations and potential solution with the customer
·Coordinate and actively conduct negotiations, gain decision maker commitment and close the deal for pilot and/or IT-implementation
·Coordinate customer communications, including contractual changes
·Act as key contact for customer
·Ensure customer retention with a high level of service quality
·University degree (economics, information technology, trade, logistics, transportation, marketing or similar study fields)
·High affinity towards digital business models including understanding of IT-solutions
·Knowledge of logistics or supply chain
·Experience in sales, ideally logistics related
·Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
·Structured work approach
·Ability to adapt and perform under changing and uncertain conditions
·Ability to work independently
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Effective presentation andfacilitation skills
·Willingness to undertake extensive international travel
·Enjoy working with people
·International exposure and cultural sensitivity
·Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
·Great commitment and be able to work under pressure
·Excellent business English (written and oral)
